Premier Member Testimonials: :thankyou:

SueP -- When DH was transferred to Calgary in September 2006, I was worried that our once full social life would fail to thrive. I found CMoms when I was messing around on the internet and decided to join. I spent the first month lurking and trying to get settled in Calgary. Then I decided to go for it and get the premier membership. I mean really ....$20.....what was there to lose??? I went to my first playgroup at the end of October and I haven't looked back. We have met so many friends and have a very active social life. The play dates and MNOs are fun, but being able to receive support and encouragement 24/7 is a life saver.

Lisa -- Thank you for making my life so much easier!! Being fairly new to Calgary and to parenthood, I find the support on Cmoms to be outstanding. I'm never afraid to ask a stupid question because I know that I will get an answer and 10 others who've wondered the same thing. To me, $20/yr for the premier membership is totally worth it and I look forward to many years of cmoms!

Mommy2 -- Calgarymoms is like a breath of fresh air for me. I come on to read about ours questions that answer mine too. You are never judged on anything you say and it just feels vey supportive here!

aqua -- When all my "mommy friends", whom I had met during Pre-Nat or Baby and You Classes were going back to work after maternity leave, I got worried. What was I going to do with my baby now in terms of play dates? What other adults would I hang out with during the day? Then I found my answer, Calgary Moms! I was a little iffy at first, as I am very internet savvy, but very internet wary. I wondered how the play dates would work, and after asking around a bit on the pre-members board, and talking to my husband, I decided to take the leap. I am glad I did. My daughter and I have been on tons of play dates now, she has met some really great friends, and so have I. In my opinion twenty dollars a year, is well worth it! I think my daughter thinks so too!

MamaLea -- Calgary Moms is the first online format that I have been part of where I receive friendship, sanity, and a place where I can truly be myself. I have appreciated all the kindness, guidance, and support that I have received from the wonderful ladies on this site. This was the best investment of $20 I could have made for myself. Thanks everyone!

Kmama -- I have to tell you, this site has helped me immensely!! When I need an answer that only Moms can provide, I have always received an answer. I enjoy reading the posts and hope that my posts bring the piece of mind that I have received many a time..

Taggelera -- I just want to say that Calgary mom's and all of the mom's on this site have been a godsend to me.
I joined this group when I was just a newlywed and was thinking about having children back in 2006, turned out that it would be a couple of years before we could actually have a child of our own and ask for parenting advice. The group was so supportive in our quest to have a baby of our own and supported me through the rough road of fertility treatments, a rough pregnancy, rough delivery and a colicky baby(6 months!!). They have also been there for me for every joy and celebratory event and the support has been graciously offered without expectations and strings attached. I feel like I would have fallen apart in the trials of trying to get pregnant and the first couple months of my baby's life had I not had this wonderful group of mom's to lean on. Thank you all so much.

3redsmom -- Calgary Moms is a lifesaver for new moms, expert moms and all moms alike! I found the community to be supportive, inviting and above all things...a great sanity saver. The forum allows you to converse with other moms and find out about cool things out and about in Calgary. Playgroups, moms nights out, retreats, classes, you name it Calgary Moms has it all! I have made some wonderful lifelong friends on here that helped me through some rough parenting waters!

Sayasmom -- Calgary Moms is a wonderful supportive community with extremely knowledgeable moms. It was an outlet for me to express myself, receive support and socialize when I felt trapped at home with a newborn. After joining, I quickly became aware of the problems with BPAs in bottles before it even hit the mainstream news. I also found out that I could return my baby bottles for a refund and one wonderful mom generously gave me some BPA-Free bottles! All of this and so much more, I gained from being a Calgary Moms member. Thank you so much Calgary Moms! - Michelle
