Good luck! I'd cheer you on, especially since now I know 3 teams walking but I leave for Ontario tomorrow. Drink lots of water and hope you don't get too many blisters.

I have been up since 3.45 am, I only got 3 hours sleep!! Anyhoo the event went off with no hitches, quite alot of tears were cried by walkers and volunteers, its such an awesome event... I can't wait for tomorrow, I will be there for 8 hours, its hard work but sooooo inspirational.

Just got home an hour ago from the event. Christine and Jenn did an amazing job and finished the first 32 kms by 3:00ish today. Christine's foot seems to be holding up quite well. The lovely Mama J came down this evening to give them a quick massage in their tents. It was great to see Lisa and TeeKay this morning welcoming all the walkers and crew with smiling faces and stickers too. Danderson made 8 dozen cookies that we handed out to the walkers and crew as we drove around all day. It was an amazing day. These men and women are such an inspiration! Can't wait to do it again next year and I would love some friends to do crew with me (Danielle is going to walk). I am off to bed shortly so we can be back down there again by 6:30. Thanks for all your well wishes. I will be sure to tell Christine and Jenn in the morning. :hug99:

Yes, thank you all so much for your well wishes and your support!! We couldn't do any of it without the support from our friends and family!!!!

As the other girls have mentioned, those two walking girls are doing AWESOME...they came into lunch in the first hundred (out of 1400 walkers!) and finished around the 3pm mark (last walkers in were at about 5:20).

Sue and I had a blast today, and can't wait to do it all again tomorrow.

Oh, and for those interested...
