Backapcks for Kids

I am a school supple junkie! Must be the teacher in me. :lol: Anyhoo, Madi's school provided her with her supplies so I am a little bummed I don't get shop, and we all know how I like to shop (quiet brandy and danielle :lol:).

So I found an awesome way to feed my addiction and help some kids. I am sure lots of you have heard about this, but it is new to me. Sleep Country and The Salvation Army are getting backpacks and school supplies together for kids that don't have any.

The girls and I are going shopping this week to pick out 2 backpacks and a bunch of pens, pencils, crayons etc. Madilyn is very excited and so am I.

Staples does this too.. I'm not sure if it's together, but I know Staples' backpacks don't go out until about the middle of September. There was a letter passed around my building (the whole thing is families) and I thought that was pretty cool.
