How do I become a premier member?

All new members must introduce themselves to the other moms on the boards in the "Introduce Yourself" forum. To be considered ACTIVE you must have more that 20 posts in the registered members forums.

How do you get 20 posts? First post an introduction in the Introduce Yourself forum (http://www.calgarymomscommunity.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2203). Click New Thread button to start. Then feel free to start a few posts in the registered members free chat forum (http://www.calgarymomscommunity.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=2314) or simply reply to posts by clicking the Post Reply button in each thread.

After 20 posts you will see "pre-premier member" in your profile (under your username) on every post that you add.

Once you see this you can pay for a premier membership. :D

To do this simply click on User CP in the panel above and click on Paid Subscriptions. Payment is made via visa, m/c or echeck through paypal.

Please note: after your 20 posts it takes 2-5 minutes for the program to read that you've moved up to a "pre-premier member". After your membership payment has been made it could take up to 15 minutes for your account to change to premier member status.

Please be patient.

click on User CP (http://www.calgarymomscommunity.com/forum/usercp.php) or in the panel above and click on Paid Subscriptions. Click the drop down arrow so it shows the $20 membership in the block then make your payment through Paypal. :)

It took me a loooooooooong time to get my 20 posts but I still can't become a member obviously or maybe I'm blind :D

you are more then welcome and the fee is only 20 and the site is secure, so once you get 20 posts you are able to become a premier member

I find it extremely hard to post messages when I have very limited access to the site. Maybe I'm not navigating through this website correctly. Am I missing anyting that is actually accessible to a non-premier member?

You know... I must have been dreaming, but seems to me that to become a Premier Member, one needed 5 posts, not 20 posts. Did I imagine this?

I've got the pre-premier after 5 posts too. They might have changed the rules. I was having a hard time thinking up 20 posts and finding 20 threads to respond to.

5 posts seems enough to get us involved, and 20 posts seems like it would create a bunch of "fluff".

I am wondering how long the membership takes, I noticed on my banking that the money was withdrawn about 4 days ago? do I have to do so many posts after that?

On the email I received from paypal it is due to go through between the 12-14th :)

it takes a bit of time for it to go from your bank account to my paypal account. sorry for the inconvenience. :(

Once it's paid on my end it will automatically go through and you will have access. :aok:
