Hi, A friend sent this to me. I'm not affiliated with the church but thought I'd pass along the info:

Dear Friends,

As many of your know, there was a devastating fire in a Millrise condo complex recently, and the folks at Southview Alliance Church in South Calgary have bumped up the date for their annual "Take It Or Leave It" donation event to help out the affected families. Victims will be invited to come to Southview and "shop" for items they are in need of. They will be asked to take what they need, and leave what they don't need for someone else. The items made available to them will be those "gently used" goods that our church family will have previously donated.

If you are interested (and it makes a good reason to start your spring cleaning early), Southview is accepting gently used goods--only items that are in good enough condition that you could still happily use them: children's clothing, small appliances, household items, yard tools, sports equipment and furniture. Extra hangers would also be appreciated.
Items that will NOT be accepted are books, large appliances, golf clubs, skis, water bottles or adult clothing. Bedding and children's clothing should be washed.

Items can be brought to the outside south door of the main auditorium Monday, April 12th through Wednesday April 14th from 530p-830p and Thursday, April 15 from 9a-830p.

The event is taking place on Friday, April 16 (5-7p) and Saturday, April 17 (9-1130a).
For further info you may contact Southview at (403) 256-4922.

Thanks so much and have a wonderful Easter!

P.S. feel free to pass this message along to anyone you think may be interesred...
